On 05/16/2011 at approximately 1627 hours, the Suisun City Police Department received a report of a roll over vehicle collision. Officers and fire personnel responded and located the vehicle at the bottom of the embankment located north of westbound Highway 12, west of the on-ramp from Main Street.

The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 41 year old male Suisun City resident, was partially ejected from the vehicle. An air ambulance landed and provided medical assistance. The driver was declared deceased at the scene. It appears that the vehicle spun out of control and went off the embankment while the driver attempted to merge onto westbound Highway 12 from Main Street. It also appears the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
