Administration

As Chief of Police, it is my goal to ensure the police department and its members provide a high level of customer service while being accessible and engaged with our community.

The Operations Bureau provides the full range of law enforcement services including patrol, traffic enforcement, and problem-oriented policing. Various operational grants are also included in this bureau.

Support Bureau

The Support Bureau provides essential administrative and operational services through its Dispatch, Records, and Property and Evidence Divisions. The bureau is responsible for emergency communications, records management, evidence preservation, and the coordination of technology and other resources that support daily police operations.

Transparency Portal

Each local law enforcement agency must post all current standards, policies, practices, operating procedures, and education and training materials on their web site pursuant to the California Public Records Act.

The SCPD is a progressive and proactive law enforcement agency. As a result of its proximity to neighboring jurisdictions, the employees of the SCPD remain extremely busy as they address the needs of the community.
