Support Division

The Support Division provides the full range of law enforcement support services including; Investigations, School Safety Traffic Officer, Community Services, and Citizen Volunteers. Various support grants are also included in this division.


Commander Jeff Henderson

The Support Division is led by Commander Jeff Henderson. Commander Henderson started his law enforcement career in 1998 with the Woodland Police Department. During his time at the Woodland Police Department Commander Henderson worked many different assignments which included: patrol, bicycle patrol, DARE, Honor Guard. Commander Henderson was a firearms instructor for 13 years and on the SWAT team for 14 years. Commander Henderson was an FTO for 12 years and an SRO for 5 years. In November 2013, Commander Henderson lateralled to the Suisun City Police Department where he promoted to the rank of Sergeant. During his time at the Suisun City Police Department, Commander Henderson worked Patrol, was the department Range master and Glock armorer. Additionally, he was the PAS coordinator, taught building search tactics, and was the Cadet Coordinator. Commander Henderson lateralled and promoted to Lieutenant for the Oakdale Police Department in 2019. He served as the Support Service division Commander managing Dispatch, Investigations, Property and Evidence and Animal Control. Commander Henderson returned to the Suisun City Police Department in May 2021 with a promotion to the position of Police Commander. Commander Henderson has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and graduated from Command College in the summer of 2023.
